At the Mountain of Marvelousness

Rather than Lovecraftian madness, visitors to my garden are overcome with quite different feelings: awe and wonder.

Truly a cyclopean planter.

This monster is greater than anything ever witnessed by Robert Olmstead.

The Mother of All Gardens

Today is Mother's Day and it is safe to say that nothing has made my mother prouder than when her eyes first saw my stupendous garden. My poor brother, from that day forward he was doomed to be my mother's number two son.

Below is a view of my now complete front garden. Marvelous.

A close up look at the glorious Variegated Weigelia. It will only become more marvelous as it grows taller.

Now around back. This Ribbon Grass planter is astounding.

A fine Torenia hanging basket.

This Wild Hydrangea is thriving in this area and beginning to become enormous. If it outgrows this area I will have to find a new place for it.

A sight that would make any mother cry. In the background is a hanging Impatient bag that I made. In the foreground is the fine decorative pole I made. In the middle is my stupendous Chive plant in full bloom.

Another Impatien hanger.

Another view.

My marvelous creation is now filled in with plants. There are two that have some fine Coleus that I started from seeds. The top is a purple and yellow Torenia and the bottom is a mix of lime and purple Ipomoea.

A fine new decorative planter with pink Torenia.

This planter has always worked nicely with Impatiens.

A sweet combo of Hosta and Hydrangea.

This titan has made its yearly return.

So much marvelousness it's difficult to process.

In the foreground is an Incrediball Hydrangea. In the rear is a variegated Hosta.

Some Parsley and the Golden Hakone grass.

A close up of another Torenia planter.

Even I am speechless.

Another of my many fine Hydrangea.

The Mohito Mint has been moved to a larger pot.

Who said true perfection was impossible to achieve?

The birds frequently come to my garden to pay homage.

Another spectacular view.

My work is astounding.

On the Seventh Day I Rested

A fine Sunday and much like Yahweh after creating the original Eden, I spent my day resting and taking in the splendor of my creation.
